Thankfully you can close this one off now. There’s an error on the Mono sources list and the first line of that file needs the " quote marks removed before it can be read by the package installer.
Thank you for all your help yesterday. HG still working this morning so I can begin setting up. Backup/restore went well, and both cards are working well. Thank you for all your assistance yesterday, and have a coffee or tea on me. So glad to see this up and running after weeks of frustration.
Patience is the key here. You have a full list of all the steps you need to execute should you need to reinstall HG on the RPI again.
Keep your HG install regularly updated by doing the following from your PuTTY session
sudo systemctl stop homegenie.service
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade -y
sudo systemctl start homegenie.service
You know how to take an image backup of your SD card so that should cover all bases.

What a wonderful setup. In the last two days I have installed the system on the rPi, 3 androids, and cleaned up the windows install. The new installation is FAR faster, boots cleaner and the wife says it looks better.(?) If I knew what she was saying I would likely agree. Thanks again for your help.
