I have some devices that I setup in HG appearing in on the https://assistant.erxinfo.ca dashboard. so HG is talking to it. will wait for further instuctions.

Oupss, probabelby missing some device type
If the device is not of type switch, dimmer,
I do not have a type light.
add this condition to the function “processSync”
if (module.IsOfDeviceType(“light”)){
device.type =“action.devices.types.LIGHT”;
device.traits.Add(“action.devices.traits.OnOff”);
}
It will help…

Ok copy and paste didn’t work it was throwing errors about some character not recognized but manualy added then attempt a sync and looks like either I crashed your server or you are doing some work on your end. getting a 503 error looks like just the dash board page has the error

Yes my server is crashing,
the error is “SyntaxError: Unexpected end of JSON input”

can you retry the linking in Google Home ?

Those your group name contain sepcial character
“roomHint”: “:scroll:Info Panel”,
This is what i get, not sure if Google Home will like it.

google home still can’t find the app with my phone.
ley me see if my old phone will connect if I can find it.

Old phone was dead so stuck it on a charger however google home isn’t on it and it won’t connect to the play store :roll_eyes: :cry:

Are you shure the good user is selected in Google Home. On my phone, I have 2 user

only have one user but two members (homes) neither sees the HomeGenie app
to be honest I’m not to familure with the google home app so I may be looking in the wrong place :roll_eyes:

I think I might have stumbled on something.
your app is configured in French there is nothing is configured for English
in my Google home app under settings if I click on assistant there is a language option which says for speaking to your assistant. however if I click on it google home the app crashes. :roll_eyes:

I will configure everyting for english user and let you ,know when it done, in a few days
